Anxiety Treatment
Quiet the worry and learn to relax.
Anxiety, stress, overwhelm, fear. Just reading those words makes your chest tighten and heart flutter. You may have been described as “high strung” before, but you’ve always viewed that as determination and focus that helped you get where you are today. But now, it’s starting to permeate in a way that doesn’t feel so helpful.

You’re worrying more frequently and intensely and can’t seem to slow down the steady flow of thoughts. Anxiety is starting to make it hard to sleep or leave things at the office mentally. You’re overthinking, over-analyzing every.little.thing. There are too many “what ifs” to count. You are physically exhausted from constantly feeling tense, “keyed up,” and weighed down by stress. Sometimes it’s hard to breathe. You’re checking and double checking your work frantically and avoiding contact with others because it’s not comfortable or enjoyable anymore.

Anxiety is sneaky. It can grow in the background and become a mountain that feels too big to climb. It is possible to manage anxiety, you just may need some help. There’s no shame in that. It’s really damn hard to climb a mountain alone.
Wouldn’t it feel wonderful to tame your worries and get some rest again? Quiet your mind and body, and finally relax on your well-deserved off time? Regain confidence instead of second guessing yourself all the time?

Wouldn’t it feel good to let go?

Anxiety can show up in our thoughts, bodies, and behaviors. In anxiety treatment, we explore what anxiety looks like for you in each of these areas, then identify ways to feel supported and utilize healthy coping skills to ease the hold anxiety has on you. All of this is done in a safe, supportive environment at a pace that feels good to you. Therapy is not a place to add to the stress. Let’s take it slow.

In addition to exploring what may be feeding the anxiety, I regularly utilize mindfulness in my practice to help ground you in the here-and-now instead of getting caught up in the “what ifs” of a future that hasn’t happened yet.

And if you need a space to vent, we can do that sometimes too!

Breathe in. Breathe out. Be here now. Let me help.
