Life Transitions and Identity Development

Get help navigating your journey.

Change is hard. Life transitions can be difficult when they are expected, and even more so when they are not. They can throw a wrench in what used to feel like a clearcut path in life and leave you feeling disconnected from yourself.

Whether you’re struggling with shifting roles and responsibilities at work, trying to balance being a new parent, or have been hit with a major unexpected life change, you are feeling confused, unsure, lost. The stress, burnout, and uncertainty are mounting. You find yourself worrying about what is the “right” thing to do and what to do next.

Through all these life transitions you are feeling less and less connected to who you used to be—who you are. You question yourself more and crave support and balance in this uncertain time. You’re not sure where you’re going or if you can do this anymore. You just want someone to tell you it’s going to be okay.

It is possible to feel more certain again. To think through decisions more confidently and have a clearer picture of who you are and where you want to go in life.

Imagine what it would feel like to connect to your values daily, and live life on your terms instead of being thrown around by circumstance. To feel more equipped to handle life’s ups and downs.

To thrive.

Therapy is a place to help get support and process whatever life is throwing at you. A space that is yours to reconnect with who you want to be. A space to navigate your life’s journey, and help you move forward in a way that feels true to you. In our sessions we regularly explore your values—what is truly important to you-- not what’s important to the company, your partner, or other people-- you. We work together to use your values as a guidepost to make decisions and manage your concerns. This means I’m not going to tell you what do to, but I will work to make therapy a space where you are comfortable problem solving and “talking it out” to make the decision that is best for you.

Change is hard AND you can manage it—with support.

It's going to be okay.
